🛡️ Radiation Levels in Kuwait Remain Normal, Assures National Guard

KUWAIT CITY, June 15, 2025 – Colonel Khaled Mathkour Lami, Chief of Operations and Training at the National Guard, confirmed that radiation levels in Kuwait are within normal limits and show no signs of increase. Speaking on behalf of the Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Al-Sabah Center for Chemical Defense and Radiation Monitoring, Lami emphasized that continuous monitoring of radiological and chemical conditions assures citizens and residents of the country's safety.(arabtimesonline.com)

The National Guard operates a comprehensive radiation and chemical monitoring system, including 29 land-based stations along borders and densely populated areas, and 15 maritime stations in Kuwaiti territorial waters. These stations are equipped with advanced technology capable of detecting radiation and chemical agents in both water and air.
